'C' Stream of Tears

There was a young girl in Trinidad,
She had just turned six and was so glad.
Soon she would be in second year,
And with friends by her side she would have no fear.

But suddenly out of the blue one day,
Her teacher told her family, "We have to say,
her work could be better
so to 'C' stream we'll send her."
Now with tears her face is much wetter.
